People have had paid work stewarding at summer festivals across England, including Lounge on the Farm in Canterbury, Glastonbury, Reading, Leeds and London. This was in partnership with Attitude is Everything and Oxfam.
We have had events at the Tonic bar in Canterbury and Woody’s bar which is on Canterbury University campus.
We are soon to start work on producing a DVD for the Person Centred Planning Network.
Sam Barnard has been acting in a film called The Oxford Murders. Filming has been in and around London. Sam has also acted in Eastenders and is going to be working with a Performing Arts group called ‘Mind the Gap’, which is based in London. Sam now has an agent!

People from the Music and Arts Project took the lead in producing a review (film version) of the National Campaigning work People First (Self-Advocacy) are doing. This was in exchange for People First doing a review of the Skillnet Group.
We are working in partnership with Keyring to design a training package for prison staff on the support needed for offenders with learning disabilities. We are producing a DVD which will be used as part of the training. It will be piloted on prison staff in the South East and if successful used for further regional and national use.
