Exciting chance to get some work experience!
Thanet Leisure Force, in partnership with Skillnet Group, are offering work placements for people with a learning difficulty.
The placements will be at Hartsdown Leisure Centre and Ramsgate Sports Centre.
What is involved?
- You will work for between 6-8 weeks
- You could work as a Leisure Assistant, Soft Play Assistant, Catering Assistant or as a Receptionist.
- You will get work experience doing a real job for a few weeks
- You will gain confidence in doing the job
- You can add the experience to your CV and tell people about it when you apply for jobs
- There may be some paid jobs at the end for people to apply for.
The placements will take place over the next year starting in February 2012.
Will I get paid?
- No, it is an unpaid work experience placement.
- It could lead on to paid work in the future
What support will I get?
- Skillnet Group will work with you to find out what support you need and can provide a job coach to help you understand the job if you need it.
