Eco Shed
The Eco Shed is a project which believes that everyone should work together equally within the community.
People from disadvantaged backgrounds can choose to receive training which can assist them to gain skills needed to move on to paid employment.
Below are examples of what is happening at The Eco Shed.

Three people with learning difficulties are employed at The Eco Shed.
They support at promotional events, work at production in the workshop and they update the finance spreadsheets.
People work in a modern workshop which enables them to make products to sell on the open market.
The profit made is reinvested back into the project.
People regularly display and sell their products at fairs and promotional events around Kent.
People are passionate about recycling. All of the products made are from recycled materials.
Paper, card, plastic, glass and tins are separated into bins and recycled. Waste is weighed and recorded in the progress reports.
People feel strongly about raising awareness about ethical and environmental issues.
They have supported many green fairs like the Canterbury climate fair and will continue to do so in the future.
Many great products are made for people to buy for the garden, but people have also designed some bespoke art and environmental work.
