Michelle Huggins – Head of Workforce Development

I have worked full-time for Skillnet Group since 2003 and have been delivering training for over 10 years. I worked for the local authority and charities before my role with Skillnet Group. I am passionate about education, training and supporting people to learn together.

I enjoy facilitating interactive workshops where everyone has the chance to be involved and contribute. This is often achieved through the use of photography, filming, DVDs and other creative technologies.

My role includes supporting the workforce within Skillnet Group, developing courses, qualifications and overseeing the work of the Training Team in delivering internal and external courses.

We also offer opportunities for work experience and study related work placements to a wide range of people including young people, job seekers, nursing and social work students.
