Louise Allen – Project Lead (Training)

Currently on maternity leave until December 2011

I have been a member of the training team since December 2009. I have been involved in the development and delivery of training in Equality and Human Rights, Health and Safety, Diversity, Train the Trainer and Personal Development training.

I have also supported the Sheppey Speaking Up Group and, with Ann Marie, have been leading on the Building Inclusive Kent Communities and Swale Disability Forum projects in Swale. I am currently doing a course in Mediation and am trained in Active Listening.

I have a keen interest in ethical and environmental issues and have volunteered for and worked for a number of environmental organisations and community groups over the past 4 years. I am part of the management team for The Pulse, café and meeting place. My role here focuses on developing the environmental and social sustainability of the social firm.
