Anne Marie EighteenAnne Marie Eighteen – Project Lead (Training)

Training TrainingI got involved with Skillnet Group about 7 years ago. I started off doing an Entry Level 1 accredited ASDAN Life Skills course. I was supported to gain this qualification then went on to gain the Level 2.

Around 4 years ago, I started working with Skillnet Group part-time delivering various workshops including Person Centred Planning training.

TrainingIn December 2009 I got my current job as Project Lead (Training) where I do various training including Equality & Human Rights, Health & Safety and Disability Awareness training for people who work in the Criminal Justice System. We do this training for a diverse range of people.

I support other various different projects within Skillnet Group including Building Inclusive Kent Communities – this is a community building project, and Fresh Experiences – supporting people to try different thing and help build their confidence.  I am a Board member, representing the training team and workforce development.

My passion is to support people to get a job and speak up for themselves, being part of the training team shows people with and without learning difficulties can get a job.
