Campaigning and Equal Rights

	Being Seen Being Heard A project about raising awareness of the problems people with learning difficulties can face when they visit the doctors’ surgery or go into hospital.

	Community Building We make links with local communities and build up strong local knowledge so that people with learning difficulties are equal citizens.

	Kent Jobs Action Group We lead a campaigning group for Kent. This is about making sure more people with learning difficulties have real jobs. The group is run by people with and people without learning difficulties working together equally.

	Speaking Up Self-advocacy means speaking up for ourselves and making sure people know our views and take us seriously.

	South East Jobs Action Network Jobs Action Network campaigning group is made up of people with learning difficulties. This is to campaign about jobs and check that the aims of Valuing Employment Now are happening in the South East.

	Schools Project Some of us have not always been treated very well. We decided to make a presentation to show at schools. We want people to understand how we feel.
